collaboration / research / teaching
We believe that collaboration enhances our work.
This involvement may take the form of a particular installation or artwork, it might simply be a collaboration on a particular surface finish or sourcing a recycled or locally sourced material with a product supplier.
We seek to involve specialist consultants, artists, product designers, suppliers, illustrators, landscape architects and members of the public in our work.
Ongoing Research & Continuing Professional Development are key components in the work that we undertake. We maintain strong & ongoing affiliations through a series of part-time teaching posts & active participation in formal practice based research work with the following institutions:
The Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, Aberdeen
The Centre for Timber Engineering, Napier University, Edinburgh
The Architecture Department, Strathclyde University, Glasgow
The Architecture Department, University of Northumbria, Newcastle
